How To Give A Rat A Bath.

Rats are naturally very clean animals. They bathe themselves even more frequently than cats.  We really did give our ratties baths.  And yes, most of the time, it does play out like the steps.  Some rats love bath time and others dont like it at all.

Bath Time for 1 Rat

1)Get tap water in sink faucet nice and warm, then fill sink close to half way.
2)Get kitten shampoo and towel ready.
3)Place dirty rat in water.
4)Catch rat as they jump out of sink trying to get away and place back in water.
5)Repeat step above a few more times.
6)Wet rat good, then lather with a dab of kitten shampoo.
7)Catch slippery, soapy rat as they slip out of hands and jump out of water.
8)Repeat above step a few more times.
9)Place rat back in water and rince suds off being careful to not get shampoo in rats eyes or ears.
10)Take squeeky clean wet rat and towel dry.  

Bath Time For Multiple Rats.

This is pretty much the same as above except this can be done in the bath tub. When dealing with several rats for  bath time at once, you will feel like you need many many hands. Some rats start to look more like hairy flying Fish than rats, as they jump for the Dry Land.

Pentagon defends sodomy rule change.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Pentagon says sex with animals would still be illegal even if Congress repeals a military rule on sodomy.
Conservative groups are upset over a proposed change in the defense bill that would eliminate Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The code states that any person who engages in "unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy." Those found guilty of sodomy would be subject to court martial.
The Pentagon said in a statement Friday that all animal abuse, including bestiality, would be considered "prejudicial to good order and discipline" and covered by another section of the military code. Court martial would still be in order.

The unholy row began after the LA-based website launched the charity auction.
Controllers at eBay pulled the listing – complaining it contained "adult content".

Heather said: "I'm a single girl and I joined the website to find love, so I hope I meet a nice boy.

How Are Will and Kate Spending Their Christmas?

This year marks Prince William and Kate Middleton's first Christmas as a married couple.
So, where will be the royal newlyweds hanging their stockings? And how will they be ringing in the new year?
Though the couple has yet to officially announce their holiday plans, sources close to Will and Kate tell E! News that the duo will most likely spend Christmas together at Sandringham, Queen Elizabeth's estate in Norfolk, England, with the rest of the royal family.
And only the royal family, as it currently stands.
The Middleton family will not be included on the actual day's festivities, but her sister Pippa Middleton is expected to travel over to spend Boxing Day—Dec. 26—with Will, Kate, Prince Harry, and the rest of the palace heavyweights. Her solo excursion to the grounds will coincide with the royal family's annual pheasant shoot—typically restricted to just members of the royal family and their significant others—and is reportedly at the urging of William, who wants to make Kate's first holiday with her in-laws as comfortable as possible.
Meanwhile, after Christmas, the merry trio of Will, Kate and Pippa is expected to travel together back to Bucklebury, where the Middletons live, to spend the following week with Kate's side of the family.
And from there? Duty calls. It'll likely be back into the royal fold for these two, who are reportedly mulling ringing in the new year with Prince Charles and Camilla at Birkhall, the private residence of the couple in Scotland.

Giuliana Rancic in "Great Spirits" Days Before Double Mastectomy.

Giuliana Rancic has become the poster child for optimism.

The 37-year-old E! News co-host -- who was diagnosed with breast cancer in August -- will undergo a double mastectomy and immediate reconstruction next week, she announced onThe Today Show Monday.

"Overall, she's in unbelievably great spirits," a source close to Rancic tellsUs Weekly. "She's been working a lot. It keeps her motivated."

Giuliana's husband, Bill, 40, has been "very supportive" of her decision, the source adds. "They want to go into 2012 with a clean slate and put this all behind them."

Indeed, Giuliana is hoping for a "full recovery by New Year's Eve," she said on The Today Show. "We're planning to be in Times Square!"
